Service & Application Engineer
Commission, support, and fine-tune advanced mechanical, laser, and EDM micromachining equipments for global customers who expect nothing less than precision excellence!
Your activity
Reporting to our Customer Service Department, you will:
- Install and commission new machines by carrying out FAT & SAT
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or on site at our customers' premises
- Support new customer applications for the start-up of new parts in production
- Carry out machine repairs (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic)
- Centralise requests from strategic customers and monitor progress with internal teams (development, production, applications)
- Optimise department processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of customer support
- Define spare parts and maintenance operations, train customers and distribution agents
- Travel frequently (60 to 80% of the time), mainly in Europe and Asia, for commissioning, troubleshooting and training
Your profile
- Experienced engineer or technician (CFC with additional training)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of machine tools or specialised machinery
- Solid knowledge of mechatronics, automation/programming and mechanics
- Knowledge of PLC (SIEMENS/BECKHOFF) an asset
- Languages: French (C2), English (C1), any other language an asset
- Rigorous, analytical and excellent organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills, a taste for customer service and demanding technical environments
