Strategic Buyer

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a strategic buyer to structure and implement our purchasing strategy, while developing lasting and effective relationships with our key suppliers.

Your role

• Secure strategic items with long lead times by setting up appropriate contracts and planning aligned with sales forecasts
• Monitor and analyze supplier performance (quality, lead times, costs) through annual evaluations and specific follow-ups in the event of deviations
• Analyze supplier non-conformities and manage action plans and continuous improvement for recurring issues
• Organize and facilitate exchanges between our departments and our suppliers, in a strong spirit of collaboration and partnership
• Drive cost reduction initiatives: design optimizations (design-to-cost), introduction of new suppliers, management and optimization of subcontracting
• In close partnership with the Technical Office, identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers to support our innovation activities

Your profile

• Higher education (Master's degree) from a business school with a specialization in purchasing or engineering (mechanical,mechatronics)
• At least 5 years'experience in a similar position, with international exposure, ideally acquired in a high-precision machine tool or industrial environment
• Proven experience in purchasing high value-added electronic products, complex systems, or high-precision mechanical parts
• Languages: French (C2), English (C1), German appreciated
• Analytical mind, rigor, negotiation skills, and results-oriented
• You are known for your facilitation skills and your ability to promote cross-functional collaboration
