Machine Process Manager EDM and Mechanics

Your activity

• Be responsible for EDM and Mechanical machining processes for all types of Posalux industries/markets
• Prepare, structure, and carry out customer feasibility studies, then create analysis reports
• Capitalize on know-how, ensure the evolution of machining processes, and further develop them to meet market needs
• Document the work performed by setting up procedures and experimental plans
• Consolidate the various results in applications and provide regular summaries
• Become the technical reference for other application engineers and support them in their daily work
• Prepare and carry out machine acceptance work with customers (FAT-SAT)
• Provide support to customers during the production ramp-up phase
• Support the after-sales service as well as Posalux branches and agents with technological and application skills, if necessary, intervene at customer site
• Stimulate innovation in our products

Your profile

• Engineer HES/EPF in Microtechnology and "Advanced Manufacturing" or equivalent
• Strong knowledge in the field of EDM (preferably drilling by electrode) and Mechanical micro-machining, with a few years of experience in a similar role
• Technical analysis, understanding, and improvement of EDM and Mechanical machining processes
• Ability to skillfully conduct "Process R&D" activities and customer feasibility studies
• Precise, conscientious, autonomous, and with excellent interpersonal skills with customers
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments (Sales, Development, Production, and After-Sales Service)
• Stress-resistant
• Native French or English speaker; any other language would be an asset
• Proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Willingness to travel
